Lindsey Breier is a Programs Intern at Promundo-US. Lindsey is an international behavioral health researcher with 10 years of experience in health research and program implementation in Latin America and Africa, with GAIN, SAIS Women Lead Program, IDB, ACDI/VOCA, IFPRI, and the US Peace Corps. For the past two years, her work focused on gun violence prevention in Colombia with the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health. Currently, she leads their grant writing, to run impact evaluations of women-led violence prevention programs in Colombia. During quarantine, she wrote a Fulbright grant proposal for a case study of community-based violence prevention programs for adolescent males in Cape Town, South Africa. She holds a MA in international development & economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BS in global health & neuroscience from Trinity University in Texas. She speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Lindsey enjoys a daily gratitude practice, yoga/surfing, cooking, design, psychology, relationship-building, and nature.
