Being a Man in Maputo: Masculinities, Poverty, and Violence in Mozambique

The report Being a Man in Maputo: Masculinities, Poverty, and Violence in Mozambique presents the results of the adaptation of the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES) in Maputo, Mozambique. The study examines the connections between masculinities, gender norms, violent and nonviolent practices, and urban violence, and its findings seek to inform governmental and nongovernmental actors in the areas of health, education, and social justice on issues related to gender equality and the prevention of violence.
